Growing up in the ballet world and knowing my own weight and body image issues, I realized that I didn't want to perpetuate the cycle of restrictive diets and grueling workouts—the "dieter's mentality" approach that often leads to short-term success but long-term frustration.
Instead, I began diving into personal development, exploring the psychology and mindset shifts necessary for sustainable change.
What I discovered was revolutionary.
By incorporating mindset work into my own life, I experienced profound transformations.
And when I introduced these principles to my clients, they too saw remarkable progress. It became evident that addressing mindset was the secret sauce to getting lasting change.

Hey there! Welcome back to the show! If you have been doing all the “right things” and still not seeing the changes you want to see…then you are in the right place! I am the person you call when you want to lose weight for the last time. I have seen and personally experienced both sides of how to lose weight…the dieter’s mentality way…sacrifice, beat yourself up and hate yourself skinny… and my method which involves understanding from a mental standpoint of why you do the things you do or aren’t doing…like losing weight easily. I’ll tell you from personal experience and what my clients tell me is that my way is so much more freeing and fun! Yes FUN! You can have fun losing weight. It happens when you learn and understand my method because you will know exactly how to lose weight no matter what is going on in your life.
I got a text from a former client who did my Jumpstart Group and she said “I just returned from a vacation and saw your post about another client that lost weight on vacation. I am pleased to inform you that I also lost weight on vacations! In the past, I either overdid it on vacation and would come back to an increase of several pounds; or when I was in dieter’s mentality, I would not enjoy myself on vacation…measuring everything and excluding certain foods, etc…She lost 12 lbs in my Jumpstart Group and now has lost 20lbs continuing on her own using my method. When you work with me, you will not get a meal plan or calories to count….or some shake regime or pills you have to take.
In fact, my motto is “no foods are off limits!”
There is no diet in my programs. There is no restriction or deprivation.
No insane workouts to do…most of the workouts I give my clients average under 30 minutes. I’ve had clients lose weight only doing 5 minute workouts a few times a week.

I was just at a networking event and I was talking to a women I hadn't seen in awhile and I asked her how she was doing….I GENUINELY care and want to know!! And I could see she was verbally saying “fine” but her face and mannerism said otherwise. I looked at her and said “is it not good?” …Now we are not besties. But my heart went out to whatever it is she is actually dealing with. We all have things that we are dealing with. The next time you ask someone “how are you doing?” check and see if you really mean it. I have been diving into the word commitment and what it really means to me and how I can apply this concept to my clients.
In psychology terms commitment is when “we make promises about the results we want but tend to ignore the process necessary to achieve these goals.”
I am sure you have heard about “enjoy the process” …and that saying used to annoy me.
Like “yeah right how do I enjoy the process of losing weight when I have to basically starve myself and do grueling workouts…just get me to the freakin lean body already!!”
If you grew up in the 70’s and 80’s this is what we were taught to starve yourself and beat yourself down with exercise!
This has backfired on us all!
